Meet Dr. Andrew Moffitt

Peers have recognized Dr. Andrew Moffitt as one of the top prosthodontists in Minneapolis for the skill with which he restores natural smiles using dental implants, dentures, crowns, bridges, and veneers.

Dr. Moffitt’s Education

Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University
Certificate in prosthodontics from the Baylor College of Dentistry
Masters in Oral Biology from the Baylor College of Dentistry

Dr. Moffitt’s Experience

Moffitt practiced general dentistry for three years before deciding to further his training and specialize in prosthodontics.
Moffitt has lectured to dentists and prosthodontists throughout the United States.
He has instructed dental students at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX.
Moffitt is the past President of the Minneapolis District Dental Society – MDDS
Moffitt has also been on the Executive Council for the MDDS for over 15 years.

While in dental school, Dr. Moffitt spent a summer setting up medical and dental clinics in the rural parts of the Dominican Republic. Dr. Moffitt met his wife, Nicole, on that mission trip. The work in the Dominican Republic was the beginning of a lifelong passion. The Moffitts participate in mission work near and far with Give Kids a Smile, Operation Smile, The Minnesota Mission of Mercy, Cleft Palate Team at Children’s Hospital of Minneapolis, The Open Wide Foundation, and The Saint James Mission.

What is a Prosthodontist?

Prosthodontics is one of the nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.

As a prosthodontist, Dr. Moffitt’s training goes beyond the scope of the general dental degree. With prosthodontics, he can offer the patient a wide range of diagnostic insight and alternative treatment options for their oral health conditions.

Dr. Moffitt specializes in the replacement of teeth through dental implant therapy. He also offers partial and complete dentures, bridges and crowns, and cosmetic dentistry, such as veneers. Learn more about our services.
