We utilize state-of-the-art prosthodontic care to restore natural teeth by creating and placing natural-looking teeth. We provide the care you need ensuring your comfort in a friendly and professional way. We attempt to exceed the expectations of every patient that entrusts their oral health to our team. Our goal is to replace the missing teeth and preserve what remains in the most conservative way possible with preserving the most tooth structure that will be long lasting and meet our patients needs.
Crowns and Bridges
We can replace large, worn-out fillings with natural-looking ceramic crowns. These state-of-the-art, high strength, metal-free crowns will restore teeth and eliminate lines at the gum line to provide a completely natural-looking appearance. Cosmetic Dentistry is the art of bringing you a beautiful, younger, more alluring new smile - a smile that is sure to have a wonderfully positive impact on your overall health appearance and self-confidence!

A fixed bridge is a restoration designed to replace one tooth or several teeth that have been lost.  It can eliminate unsightly gaps with a replacement tooth between the teeth on either side of the gap.  A bridge can prevent the remaining teeth from drifting out of position as well as helping with chewing.
Partial and Complete Dentures
Partial and complete dentures full fill several different functions.  They can provide "teeth" for chewing and breaking down food, provide structure and shape to our facial tissues, provide a beautiful smile, and helps in speech.  There are several types of dentures, including complete dentures, special clasp-less (wireless) removable partial dentures using precision attachments, and overdentures supported by either natural teeth or implants.
Implant Dentistry

In many situations, dental implants can give back patients their confident smile.  The benefits are improved esthetics, the ability to eat comfortably and a clean healthy oral environment for the patient.

Dental implants are small prosthetic posts that are placed into the bone of the upper or lower jaw.  They act as replacements for the root portion of lost natural teeth and also serve as an anchor for replacement teeth.  Dental implants are appropriate for almost anyone who is currently missing teeth or is at risk of losing teeth.

There are many different types of dental implants available.  Dr. Andrew R. Moffitt has had extensive experience in restoring dental implants and would be pleased to discuss the benefits of implant prosthetics with you.  He works with other surgical specialist, as a team, to place the implants in the most ideal locations to provide you with the most esthetic, functional, and long lasting treatment.
Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD)
TMD is not just one disorder, but a group of conditions, often painful that affect the jaw joint (temporo-manidbular joint or TMJ) and the muscles that control chewing.  Symptoms may include pain, limited movement or locking of the jaw, clicking, popping, or grating sounds in the jaw joint, or a sudden, major change in the way your teeth fit together.  Dr. Moffitt believes in conservative and reversible treatment for TMD.  This treatment may include an oral appliance, which is a plastic guard that fits over the teeth.  This guard can help reduce clenching or grinding, which cause muscle tension.
Cosmetic Dentistry

MaxilloFacial prosthodontics deal with the rehabilitation of patients with acquired and congenital defects of the head and neck region.  These defects may result from birth defects, trauma, or oral cancer.  A team of physicians and dental specialist may be required to restore form and function and to allow the patient to return to a good quality .
